  • 200g ladyfinger biscuits
  • 500g mascarpone cheese
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 cup strong coffee
  • Cocoa powder for dusting
  • 2 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)
Instructions
  1. 1Whisk egg yolks with sugar until creamy
  2. 2Add mascarpone and mix well
  3. 3Beat egg whites until stiff peaks, fold into mascarpone mixture
  4. 4Dip ladyfingers in coffee and layer in dish
  5. 5Spread mascarpone cream over biscuits
  6. 6Repeat layers, refrigerate for 4 hours
  7. 7Dust with cocoa powder before serving
